Things to Know!

  • What to Bring: Children should dress for the weather and pack a change of clothes, as well as beach shoes (sandals with toe straps).
  • Bagged Lunches: Please send your child with a bagged lunch, lunches are not included with Belcarra Day Camp. Note: There is no overnight stay.
  • Allergies and Diet Restrictions: Due to the large number of children with nut allergies, please do not send your child with peanut butter sandwiches or other nut products. We are a nut free environment. Please indicate your childs allergies at time of registration in the camper information section, or call into the office.
  • Program Age: must be 6 before August 31 of the program year to enroll.
  • Friend Requests: camp is about making new friends. Our first priority is our campers experience, which is why Sasamat only allows campers to make one friend request (which will not be guaranteed). Balanced groups based on age and gender create a positive camp experience for everyone. We encourage campers to bring a friend and make a friend, branching out to meet and include new people. Sasamat will not juggle groups around after camp sessions have begun to put friends together and we encourage you to talk to your camper about meeting new people before camp begins.
  • T-Shirts: t-shirts or hats can be purchased at time of registration for $15.00 a piece.
