microparks.jpgThinking about taking your students' learning experience outside of the classroom?

Students of all ages come to Sasamat Outdoor Centre where you will find a full range of outdoor, nature-based activities to stimulate learning.
Your school's theme can vary from outdoor recreation and nature studies to teamwork, leadership, science or music.  At Sasamat Outdoor Centre you will find a full range of outdoor and nature based activities to stimulate learning.
Camp is the highlight of every child's school experience. What students learn at camp stays with them forever and the positive effects transfer back to the classroom.  Whether you want a single day experience or wish to immerse your students more fully with a multi-day visit, we can design a program that works for you and your students.  At Sasamat Outdoor Centre we offer two streams of learning for students.

"We had a GREAT time again this year. Your staff have always been good, but I thought that they were exceptional this year as they were well prepared and kept the kids so engaged. I would also like to thank you for spending the time to allow all the students on the high ropes Tuesday afternoon.  For most of our students spending time in the outdoors is the time it take to get from the car to the house. The experiences they have at camp are so foreign to them, but so enjoyable. It makes such an impact on their development, from building confidence to building background knowledge. Well I could go on and on about how great  and important it is, but I'll stop." - Teacher
"I have been fortunate to return to your camp program for many years with new groups of students. .... the personal growth, and challenges that students are able to overcome, .... would not be possible without the encouragement, positive motivation, and environment that your camp provides."  -  Teacher

"Definitely a fantastically organized camp, lots of fun activities and excellent food.  All instructors were clear, at the kid's level, and very pleasant and creative."  - Teacher
"In short, camp was the highlight of my grade seven year, and not a day passes where I don't think about what a great time I had." - Student

Your stay includes exclusive use of the facility with accommodation for up to 100.  Full catering is provided from Sasamat's kitchen from dinner on the day of arrival to lunch on the day of departure, including afternoon and evening snacks.
