Helm Lodge features a dining hall with a two-storey vaulted ceiling, gas fireplaces, two small break-out rooms and a  large, covered deck with a wood-burning fireplace - a great place to relax in the evening.

Meals are served from our kitchen, and beverages are available throughout your stay. All washroom and shower facilities are located in the Helm Lodge.

Wallace and Cedar Rooms

Additional indoor space for rainy day programs is provided in the Wallace and Cedar Rooms. These multipurpose  buildings are located within easy reach of Helm Lodge.

Sleeping Accommodation

Sasamat Outdoor Centre features three types of sleeping accommodation: Cabins, Cottages and our newest, Yurts.

All are fully winterized and equipped with electric heat and lights. Campers should bring their own bedding or sleeping bag, and pillow.

The four Cottages overlook the lake and are close to Helm Lodge. Each  Cottage has three semi-private rooms that are furnished with bunk beds and can accommodate up to ten people.

The seven Cabins are nestled in the woods and are more private. Each Cabin is furnished with six single beds.

Our two Yurts are brand-new, both which sleep 10 people in a common area on bunk beds.  Each Yurt features a retractable skylight for great night-sky viewing.
