Sasamat Outdoor Centre – Driving Directions
Sasamat Outdoor Centre is located at 3302 Senkler Road, Belcarra, BC, V3H 4S3, approximately 10 minutes from Port Moody’s Newport Village.
Driving Directions from Port Moody:
Turn left at the Ioco Road exit off of St. John's Street, the main thoroughfare through Port Moody.
Turn left onto Ioco Road and follow the signs to Belcarra Regional Park and White Pine Beach.
At First Avenue, turn right. First Avenue becomes Bedwell Bay Road.
Follow Bedwell Bay Road past the right-hand turn off to White Pine Beach until you reach the 3-way stop at the bottom of the hill.
Turn right at the 3-way stop, towards the Village of Belcarra.
Turn right onto Senkler Road, the first road on your right after entering the Village of Belcarra, immediately past the Village of Belcarra signage, bus shelter and community mailboxes.
Turn right on the gravel road immediately to your right after crossing a small bridge and follow the driveway into Sasamat Outdoor Centre.
Public Transit Directions
Sasamat Outdoor Centre is accessible via TransLink Bus #182- Belcarra/Moody Station. Bus #182 departs from Bay 8 at Moody Sky Train Station in Port Moody and runs regularly in half-hour intervals or 1-hour intervals on Sundays and holidays.
Take this bus and get off at the Senkler Road stop, an approximate 25-minute ride from Moody Station. Walk across the bridge at Senkler Road and turn right onto the gravel road, and follow the driveway to Sasamat Outdoor Centre, 5 minute walk.
