Wilderness Trips
Whether hiking or paddling in a canoe, wilderness trips are the high point of a summer camp experience.
Campers enjoy spectacular backcountry campgrounds where ocean, forest and mountain become the backdrop for outdoor learning and exploration. On these multi-day overnight camping trips, teens will challenge themselves to work together as a team.
Accessible to first-timers as well as experienced trippers, campers will be taught how to pack, travel, cook, sleep, and enjoy the great outdoors. As the group journeys through their week, campers will gain skills as well as confidence and independence, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Ridgerunners
Sasamat Outdoor Centre is excited to bring back our backcountry, multi-day, hiking trips that will take campers on an experiential journey along beautiful and scenic trails for the upcoming 2024 season.

Voyageurs is our Say Nuth Khaw Yum Provincial Park (Indian Arm Park) four-day three-night out-trip, paddling to Granite Falls.
