Fireside Lunch
A Fireside Lunch is the perfect way for seniors to enjoy beautiful Sasamat Lake and Belcarra Regional Park. From the comfort of the Helm Lodge, guests will enjoy a cozy, warm fire along with an afternoon of refreshments, delicious food, social time and live entertainment.
Upon arrival guests will be welcomed with coffee and tea, and will have time to socialize or explore the grounds, lakefront area, or the trail around the lake. A freshly cooked three-course meal is served at noon, followed by a live band performance, playing a mix of timeless and upbeat classics that resonate with the audience - singing along and dancing is encouraged!
Schedule
11:00am: Arrival and refreshments in Helm Lodge. Guests are welcome to explore the grounds, waterfront and surrounding trails.
12:00pm: Lunch is served. The three-course menu will be established prior to arrival with the office and booking organizer. Allergies and dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advanced notice.
1:00pm: Live Entertainment
2:00pm: Wrap Up and Departure
Our Facility
Sasamat Outdoor Centre is located on a private, 5-acre site within Belcarra Regional Park. Our lakefront property is surrounded by beautiful, classic BC West Coast nature: Western Red Cedars, Western Hemlocks, Douglas Firs, Salal, and a host of local wildlife. Helm Lodge and washroom facilities are wheelchair accessible, however please note the grounds and trails may be difficult for people with mobility challenges.
Booking Information:
Fire Side Luncheons are available for booking from October-April
Groups must be a minimum of 30 guests; maximum size of 50 guests
Transportation to and from Sasamat Outdoor Centre is not included
