Financial Assistance

Sasamat Outdoor Centre is committed to making sure our programs are as accessible as possible, and that financial circumstances do not prevent a family from sending their child to camp.

Sasamat fundraises annually for our ‘Send a Kid to Camp Fund’ with the support of our Community Board of Directors, numerous funding agencies and gracious donors. The dollars raised through these efforts are redistributed to families that require financial assistance to cover camp registration fees.

If you are unsure about whether your family qualifies for a subsidy, don’t hesitate to call our office and have a conversation with us. Families will be asked to contribute what they are able to towards their child’s registration fee, remembering that funds can be limited and Sasamat desires to help as many families as possible.

We also ask that families consider purchasing a $5 annual membership, which helps us access funds that allow Sasamat to keep fees as low as possible.
