March 2025 Camp Dates

Week #1: March 17-21, 2025

Week #2: March 24-28, 2025

Spring Break Day Camp is an action-packed, exhilarating week that is suitable for kids with any level of camp experience.

Spring Break Day Camp offers campers an active week outdoors with a focus on fostering friendships and confidence. Whether you are trying camp for the first time, or you are a seasoned camper, Spring Break Day Camp is sure to be full of adventures and lasting memories!

Taking place at our main site on Sasamat Lake, campers in Spring Break Day Camp will be placed with in a group of seven other similar aged children. Each group will have one counsellor, as Spring Break Day Camp has a 1:8 staff to camper ratio. Campers will spend the week playing, exploring the outdoors, and participating in traditional camp activities such as canoeing, kayaking, archery, and climbing wall.

Spring Break Day Camp, like all programs at Sasamat, is founded on the values of inclusion, respect and compassion. Campers are encouraged to try new things, but they always have the choice to decide what’s best for themselves. If a challenge arises while at camp, our highly trained staff will work with day campers to problem solve and help each camper to have a successful experience.

Facilities

Spring Break Day Campers will spend all their time outdoors. However, they’ll be assigned a bag spot, where backpacks and gear are dropped off for the day, and they’ll have access to their belongings throughout the day. Note that we recommend leaving valuables at home for the day – they’re not needed at camp!

Bathrooms are centrally located in the Main Lodge and are accessible as needed.

Food

Spring Break Day Campers must bring their own packed lunches, which must be nut-free due to the large number of children with allergies. Unfortunately, we don’t have lunches available for purchase for Spring Break Day Camp.

Cancellation Policy

If your plans change and you need to adjust your registration – not a problem! Our cancellation policy outlines what fees will apply.
